Fernando Alonso has been making the most of his impressive car collection during the winter break.
After being spotted around Monaco in his extremely rare Mercedes CLK GTR, the Spanish driver has now been seen in his Aston Martin Valiant, the ultra-rare hypercar he personally commissioned.
Cars aren’t Alonso’s only passion. The F1 star also owns a Sunreef Power Eco 60, an 18.3-meter solar-powered catamaran he calls a small villa on water.
The futuristic yacht cruises silently with 68.6 square meters of solar panels and matches his dedication to reducing carbon emissions.
“Perfect Sunday ride. Valiant, you’ve got it all,” Alonso wrote on Instagram with photos of him posing alongside the car with his partner in the hills above Monaco.

The road-legal, track-focused sports car was built by Aston Martin’s Q department after being commissioned by the two-time Formula One champion.
Limited to just 38 units globally, various reports value it between $3 million and $3.5 million.

The car was announced in June 2024 as a collaboration with Alonso and later unveiled by him at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
Valour was a spectacular celebration of Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary and stirred me to create a more extreme, race car-inspired version that was track-focused while also delivering a thrilling drive on-road, Alonso said at the time.

At the heart sits a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12, the kind of engine that feels increasingly rare and increasingly special by the day.
It sends 745 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque straight to the rear wheels through a proper six-speed manual gearbox.
