Bentley has announced key details about its maiden electric vehicle. The unnamed SUV gains 100 miles of range in 6.5 minutes.
That charging rate makes it one of the fastest on the market when it arrives in 2027.
The capability suggests charging speeds up to 350 kW. Only the Lotus Emeya currently offers faster at 400 kW.
R&D boss Matthias Rabe described the car as very comfortable like a Flying Spur and agile like a Continental GT.
Acceleration from zero to 100 mph and zero to 200 mph will be very fast. He called it the best Bentley on the road.
CEO Frank Walliser confirmed the launch will happen towards the end of 2026 with deliveries starting the following year. That timeline won’t change even if wider EV demand falls.

Recent spy shots showed production bodywork for the first time. The design demonstrates influence from Bentley’s brand-shaping EXP 15 concept.
Monolithic surfacing, bluff proportions, and a relatively low-slung silhouette define the look.
The Flying Spur style lights on prototypes are stick-on decoys hiding the real design thought to resemble the EXP 15.
Inside, the cabin gets clad in 30 square metres of leather. That material is held together with 130,000 stitches from 150 metres of thread.
The cockpit will be fully customizable allowing owners to configure seating position and controls around personal preferences.
