Audi’s recently unveiled Concept C was always going to stir debate. The coupe took inspiration from the outgoing TT and legendary designs like the Avus and Rosemeyer, sending a signal that Audi was ready to rip up its current design language and start again.
Now, thanks to digital artist Luca Serafini, we can imagine how those same cues might look on something with a higher ride height. His rendering of a Concept C inspired SUV makes a strong case for Audi’s next generation of family haulers.
The proportions are clean and aggressive.
Serafini translates the coupe’s slim LED headlights, tapered grille, and minimalist surfacing onto a larger canvas. The enclosed C pillar and 21 inch wheels carry over as well, matched to a matte finish that looks more bespoke than anything Audi currently offers in showrooms.
If that was not ambitious enough, Serafini has also applied the Concept C design language to a motorcycle, a boat, a semi truck, and even a lifted sports car reminiscent of Audi’s Activesphere idea from a few years ago.
It sounds outlandish, but the sharper styling actually works across multiple body types.
Audi, meanwhile, has already confirmed that a production sports car based on the Concept C is in the pipeline. That model is expected to share a platform with the upcoming Porsche 718 EV, due in 2026. If the timeline holds, Audi’s version could arrive by 2027, before the design spreads across sedans, wagons, and SUVs.
The stakes are high. Audi’s current styling direction has come under fire for being fussy and inconsistent, while rivals like BMW and Mercedes are locking into bold EV identities. The Concept C shows a cleaner, more confident look, one that has the potential to influence the next decade of Audi design.
Whether the production models stay true to the purity of this rendering is another question.
For now, the Serafini SUV remains a digital fantasy. But if Audi is serious about making its design language feel aspirational again, this is the kind of bold vision it needs to bring to the road.
