Hyundai is launching the redesigned Venue on November 4, and the changes run deeper than the sharpened bodywork.
The Korean automaker equipped its compact SUV with Level 2 ADAS, making it the first Hyundai below four meters to get advanced driver assistance beyond Level 1.
That demonstrates a serious commitment to safety in the affordable segment.
Another first for the Venue is four disc brakes. The current model uses drum brakes at the rear.
Disc brakes were previously exclusive to the Venue N Line. Now every variant gets ventilated front discs and solid rear discs for improved stopping power.
The 2026 model adds Surround View Monitor and Blind-spot View Monitor.
That means a 360-degree camera system comes standard along with blind-spot view assist that projects side camera feeds on the instrument cluster when turn indicators activate.
These features normally sit much higher in the price spectrum.
Physical dimensions have grown noticeably. The Venue stands 48 millimeters taller and 30 millimeters wider than before.
The wheelbase stretches 20 millimeters longer for improved rear legroom.
Body design follows Hyundai’s latest language with a more imposing front end and squarer lines echoing the Santa Fe and Palisade.
LED daytime running lights are standard. Sharper body lines run down the sides with bolstered wheel arches. The rear swaps small square taillights for a full-width LED strip.
Inside sits dual curved 12.3-inch displays, one for infotainment and one for instrumentation.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity come standard. A Bose premium audio system with subwoofer handles sound duties.
Navy Blue and Dove Grey interior themes replace the previous color schemes. Equipment levels jump significantly.
Auto climate control, powered seats, ventilated seats, auto-dimming interior mirror, leatherette upholstery and steering wrap, cruise control, steering-mounted audio controls, wireless charging pad, reclining second row seats, front and rear armrests, rear AC vents, and rear window shades are all features.
Three engines carry over. The 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol pairs only with a five-speed manual.
The 1.0-liter turbo petrol offers either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5-liter turbo diesel gets either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic.
The Venue upgrades should strengthen its position considerably against rivals in the compact SUV segment.
